Volunteering with BFT

You can get involved directly with the work of BFT and help us achieve our vision of restoring native woodlands in the south of Scotland by volunteering to help us.

We offer volunteers the opportunity to get involved with a wide range of woodland conservation and management activities such as tree planting, seed collecting, controlling introduced invasive species and woodland survey work.

Sharing your time, skills, experience and expertise in this way is rewarding for you and extremely useful to us. It is possible to volunteer on a one off basis, occasionally or on a long term basis - we don't mind at all. Experience not necessary but enthusiasm is! We have regular volunteering at Wildwood on Tuesdays and the 3rd Sunday of every month (except June, July and December).

If you would like to get involved and gain hands on experience, get in touch with us by emailing us at enquiries@bordersforesttrust.org or by filling in the online form.

Your help and enthusiasm are greatly appreciated!
