Established to stimuate greater use of locally source hardwood timber, the Woodschool is now the pre-eminent centre for hardwood design in the UK. Woodschool is the trading arm of Borders Forest Trust and has 3 main business areas:- timber sales and processing; bespoke furniture and product; and a workshop for furniture desinger-makers. buyDesign, Woodschool's gallery, retails product from Woodschool and the designer makers together with work from other craftsmen and artists from the local area.
